Ewa Milewski

Ewa Milewski is part of FTI Consulting’s Business Tax Advisory group. Ms. Milewski has more than 20 years of experience specializing in the real estate industry. She provides tax consulting and compliance services to private equity funds, real estate companies and real estate investment trusts (“REITs”). Her experience spans the full lifecycle of real estate transactions, including structuring, acquisitions, refinancing, dispositions and REIT and entity due diligence.

Ms. Milewski advises clients on partnership taxation, deferred gain recognition, basis adjustments and complex ownership structures involving domestic and foreign investors. In addition, she supports tax-efficient transaction planning and investor-related tax matters associated with acquisitions, dispositions and portfolio transactions.

Ms. Milewski began her career with The Schonbraun McCann Group, a real estate advisory firm, where she provided tax compliance services to private and public real estate companies. She focused on real estate owners, operators and developers and developed a strong foundation in related tax and accounting matters.
