Heine Streicher

Heine Streicher is a Managing Director for FTI Consulting’s Business Transformation team based in Cape Town. He has more than 26 years of experience in the areas of project management, project governance reviews, enterprise resource planning (ERP) system selection and implementations, data analytics, business process optimisation, controls reviews and all aspects of finance and taxation functions.

As both an accountant and IT risk and control professional, Mr. Streicher has a deep understanding of how information security and technology control breakdowns can impact the financial and operational processes of an organisation.

Mr. Streicher’s information security and IT control specific focus has led to him delivering many Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (“COBIT”)-based IT security reviews spanning various operating systems, applications and databases including but not limited to Microsoft, Linux, SAP, Oracle and SQL.

Outside consulting, Mr. Streicher has held the positions of financial manager for an international ship repair facility, where he was responsible for the full finance, procurement and IT functions, and as inventory optimisation lead for a multinational oil company, where he was responsible for optimising the inter-oil company transactions and inventory processes. He also worked closely with the customer contact centre in optimising order taking and scheduling processes.

Mr. Streicher’s experience spans multiple sectors in both Europe and Africa where he has led and delivered many diverse projects for multinational and listed organisations, including projects in South Africa, Ireland, UK, Angola, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
