Jenifer Visek

Jenifer Visek has more than 20 years of experience in the technology and cybersecurity industry. Ms. Visek specializes in cyber risk management, advising clients across all industries and sizes, with a particular focus on helping private equity firms and their portfolio companies enhance their cyber maturity through improved controls.

Ms. Visek’s expertise includes conducting cyber risk assessments, developing cybersecurity transformation roadmaps, leading cyber threat simulations and providing incident response support. She also excels at educating executive stakeholders on cybersecurity risks and providing mitigation strategies.

Prior to FTI Consulting, Ms. Visek served as Vice President and Practice Lead of Cybersecurity at a leading global risk and reinsurance company, where she led proactive security advisory solutions for Private Equity firms, middle market organizations and M&A clients. Ms. Visek started at the company as Director of Incident Management, where she led technology disaster recovery preparation efforts and assisted in the creation and implementation of an integrated 24/7 global network operations center. She continued to advance to senior roles within the company, including Senior Portfolio Manager of Global Technology Operations, Director of IT for Global Technology Business Delivery and Vice President of Cyber Solutions.

Ms. Visek began her career in financial services, spending four years at a global credit card issuing company, managing technology and cybersecurity solutions. She later moved to a global, publicly held financial services company, serving as the Vice President of eCommerce. There, Ms. Visek directed the re-architecture of a secured, externally facing infrastructure, created and implemented a standardized service-level agreement process and managed full application implementation lifecycles.
