Jonathan Neilan

Jonathan Neilan is a Senior Managing Director in the Strategic Communications segment and is based in Dublin.

Mr. Neilan started his career in investor relations and communications at Jefferson Smurfit Group (now Smurfit Kappa) in 1995, working as Investor Relations Manager. In 2002, he co-founded K Capital Source, an independent investor relations and communications advisory firm, which was acquired by FTI Consulting in December 2007.

Mr. Neilan now leads a team that advises a range of domestic and international companies on corporate and financial communications, public affairs and stakeholder engagement, crisis and reputation work, and corporate governance and ESG advisory work. In particular, he has long-standing experience advising public and private companies on corporate governance, financial reporting, ESG reporting and AGM voting and management. He also has experience on a broad range of M&A including Acquisitions, Mergers, IPOs, MBOs, LBOs, hostile defense and proxy battles.

Mr. Neilan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies from Dublin City University (“DCU”) and a Master’s Degree in Business Studies from University College Dublin.
