Justin Koehler

Justin Koehler specializes in providing consulting services in business valuations, litigation matters and transaction services. Mr. Koehler focuses on litigation and financial investigation matters in the bankruptcy setting. He has industry expertise in manufacturing, healthcare, telecommunications, financial services and retail.

Mr. Koehler’s background also includes experience as a credit analyst at a hedge fund specializing in distressed securities investing.

Mr. Koehler prepares analyses and research to determine solvency and lost damages and profits in complex litigation matters. He assists clients throughout the litigation process with document discovery, forensic accounting, expert report preparation, deposition preparation and trial preparation.

Mr. Koehler assists clients in both in-court and out-of-court restructurings, providing financial analyses to bankrupt or troubled companies and creditors and lenders. He supports clients in presenting 13-week cash flows, long-term projections and valuations to negotiate with involved parties.

Mr. Koehler also provides transactions and due diligence services and prepares quality of earnings reports for potential purchasers or sellers. He assesses the controls and business processes of the target company to highlight risks associated with a potential sale and assists clients with transaction valuation and negotiating final transaction terms. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Koehler was an Associate Director in Protiviti Inc.’s Restructuring and Litigation Services practice.
