Mariana Mohr

Mariana Mohr is a Senior Director in FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment. Mariana focuses on Latin American companies facing restructuring processes. She has more than 10 years of experience in consulting as an advisor to companies and lenders.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mariana developed her skills in M&A and financial consulting at MSW Capital, where she focused on building valuation models, financial modeling, merger structuring and governance system development, among other related areas. Her professional journey also includes valuable experience with renowned organizations such as Renault and the Atomic Energy Commission in France.

At FTI Consulting, Mariana has played a role in various restructuring projects, working on transactions for both companies and lenders. She has worked on the restructuring of more than USD3 billion in debt and has supported clients with cash management, business plan modeling, payment assessments, restructuring processes and corporate due diligence.

Mariana holds an M.B.A. with a specialization in Finance from COPPEAD Graduate School of Business at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro, as well as a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Federal Technological University of Paraná. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and is fluent in Portuguese, English and French, with a working knowledge of Spanish.

Relevant Experience:

• Worked extensively in the sugar cane industry in Brazil, including the successful debt restructuring of one of the main players in the sector
• Served as project leader for several projects in the education sector
• Participated in the successful restructuring of one of the largest customer care companies in Brazil
