Mark Curties

Mark Curties is a delay expert with 15 years of experience advising clients on complex construction projects. Mr. Curties specialises in time-related issues, including risk management and delay analysis, and has been engaged to prepare independent expert reports.

Mr. Curties has extensive experience across a broad range of industry sectors, including airports, commercial and residential buildings, infrastructure, power and utilities, and oil and gas. His geographical experience includes projects across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Australia.

Mr. Curties has presented at seminars and conferences hosted by the RICS, Society of Construction Law and Singapore Contractors Association. Topics include FIDIC forms of contract, preparation of time and cost claims, and delay analysis methodologies. He has also presented at insurance market events and ad hoc seminars for lawyers, and co-authored articles which were published in regional industry publications.

To strengthen his data analysis capabilities, Mr. Curties completed a M.I.T.B. in Data Analytics. This has enhanced his ability to manage and interrogate large datasets effectively — skills that are increasingly valuable in the analysis of project delays.
