Michael J. Duffy

Michael J. Duffy leads Global Brand and Digital Strategy at FTI Consulting, driving the firm’s strategic vision and amplifying its global presence. In this pivotal role, he oversees the execution of integrated marketing and paid media initiatives that align with business goals and elevate brand impact. Mr. Duffy shapes the long-term positioning of the FTI Consulting brand, spearheading global strategies that ensure consistent messaging, a unified brand identity, and meaningful engagement across all platforms — fueling growth and strengthening market leadership.

In this dual capacity, Mr. Duffy also oversees the firm’s portfolio of digital and martech tools, and leads the integration of platforms and technologies that power customer experiences across all channels. He manages cross-functional teams to ensure that marketing efforts are data-driven, insight-led, and continuously evolving to meet the demands of an ever-changing market landscape.

Mr. Duffy brings more than 20 years of experience in digital and integrated marketing communications, having built his career at some of the world’s most respected media, financial, and professional services firms.

He began his career in broadcast and cable television, holding several roles at Dow Jones & Co.’s Wall Street Journal Television and Online Media Groups before joining General Electric’s CNBC, where he served as a producer for the flagship morning show Squawk Box. He later played a key role in the development and launch of CNBC.com, one of the first business and consumer news websites.

Mr. Duffy went on to lead brand, content, and user experience for Merrill Lynch’s Institutional eCommerce division, and later served as Digital Channel Executive for Bank of America’s corporate and institutional businesses.

Before joining FTI Consulting in 2022, Mr. Duffy was Managing Director and Global Digital Presence Leader at PwC.
