Phillip Kenny has more than 10 years of experience in the construction industry, focusing on forensic analysis of complex construction disputes involving schedule delay, productivity loss, terminations and construction damages. Mr. Kenny has worked with contractors, subcontractors, owners and developers to prepare and evaluate claims, provide expert analysis and resolve disputes across a wide range of project types. Mr. Kenny has prepared expert reports and provided deposition testimony as part of dispute resolution proceedings.
Mr. Kenny has consulted on a variety of projects including airports, light rail systems, subway stations, roadways, mid- and high-rise buildings, chemical plants, natural gas compressor stations and pipelines throughout the United States. Mr. Kenny has assisted contractors with ongoing construction projects to prepare change orders requesting both compensation and schedule extensions for impacts incurred. He has performed on-site time studies of contractors performing their construction operations.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Kenny was a manager consultant for the construction claims consulting firm Veritas Advisory Group in Dallas, TX. His experience there consisted of the preparation and defense of construction claims related to energy, commercial and industrial projects.
Mr. Kenny received a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Texas in Austin. He is a Certified Construction Auditor (“CCA”).
