Robert Hudleston

Robert Hudleston is a Managing Director with more than 15 years of professional experience across the government sector, with a particular focus on health.

Rob specialises in strategic and business planning, the review and design of health service delivery operating models, business performance improvement and stakeholder and relationship management. Most recently, he has been supporting the Western Australian health system in developing and implementing strategies to improve patient flow and reduce ambulance ramping.

Before moving into consulting, Rob was the Director of Strategy at Health Support Services Western Australia.

Relevant Experience:

• Led the design and implementation of operating models and organisational structures for health shared service providers, delivering enhanced customer service and operational efficiency
• Led the development and delivery of organisation-wide strategic and operational plans, ensuring clear alignment and cascade throughout the organisation
• Designed and implemented major health programs focused on improving patient flow, transitional care and the management of long-stay patients
• Supported large-scale health system transformation initiatives through program assessments, strategic planning and delivery improvement
• Designed program and coordination models to improve the utilisation and effectiveness of alternate discharge and care pathways for older adults and vulnerable populations
