Sam Ballinger

Sam Ballinger is a Managing Director in the Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment at FTI Consulting. In situations where a business is facing financial or operational challenges, he advises companies’ lenders, shareholders, corporates and other key stakeholders.

Sam’s experience includes undertaking independent business reviews, providing options analysis, financial restructuring, contingency planning and implementation across a wide range of sectors. He has also supported management teams through accelerated sales processes and business turnaround plans.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Sam spent seven years in PwC’s refinancing, restructuring and insolvency team. Sam is a chartered accountant, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a licensed insolvency practitioner.
