Tom Finnegan

Tom Finnegan is a Senior Managing Director in the FTI Consulting Construction, Projects & Assets practice and is based in Atlanta. Mr. Finnegan has more than 23 years of experience in the construction industry on heavy civil / transportation, petrochemical, power plant, heavy industrial, high-tech manufacturing, mining, commercial, and residential projects located in several countries. His field experience includes project cost/schedule control; contract administration; overall site coordination including supervision of trade contractors, construction activities and installations; and cost estimating during all phases of design and construction.

Mr. Finnegan has seventeen years of construction contract disputes consulting experience. In this regard, he has been responsible for schedule delay and impact analysis, labor productivity analysis, damages analysis, expert report preparation, building code compliance analysis, and change order analysis. He has provided litigation (bench and jury), arbitration, mediation, and deposition testimony as an expert in construction scheduling and damages on multi-million dollar disputes. Mr. Finnegan is a Certified Cost Consultant with AACE International and has served as an arbitrator with the AAA on multi-million dollar disputes.
