Yi Zhang

Yi Zhang has more than 15 years of accounting and auditing experience in the real estate and hospitality industry. She advises public and privately held real estate and real estate finance companies on complex accounting and financial reporting matters.

Ms. Zhang provides outsourced accounting and financial reporting services for private equity funds and other real estate companies. These companies report under generally accepted accounting principal in the United States (“US GAAP”), International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) and income tax basis of accounting.

Ms. Zhang has prepared and reviewed monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, Form 10-Ks, 10-Qs, pro forma financial statements and other registration statements filed with SEC.

Ms. Zhang’s areas of specialization include accounting, auditing, assessing internal controls and financial reporting for both publicly traded and privately held companies that own and operate hotels, restaurants, commercial and residential properties held for sale, development or rental. Her areas of specialization also include fair value accounting, real estate investment trusts and initial public offerings.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Zhang worked in the real estate and hospitality audit practice at BDO USA, LLP, a certified public accounting firm, where she served as an audit director.
