Zoi Polyzou

Zoi Polyzou is a Civil Engineer and Delay Expert specialised in planning, programming and delay analysis. Zoi has worked on major infrastructure and construction projects across the UK, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, including wind energy projects, data centres, power plants, hospitals, highways, airports and residential/mixed-use developments.

Zoi is regularly appointed as a delay expert in arbitration and adjudication proceedings and has supported expert teams in litigation across a wide range of sectors. Her core expertise lies in forensic delay and disruption analysis, delivering clear and evidence-based opinions that support robust dispute resolution. Having testified as a delay expert, she is recognised for her ability to present complex programming issues in a clear and accessible manner.

Zoi’s on-site experience spans projects of varying scale, from residential design and construction to commercial project management and monitoring. She is frequently retained by contractors, asset owners and developers to provide advice on matters of programme management, project management, cost management and risk mitigation during project execution.

Zoi is proficient in all major planning software packages, including Primavera P6 and P3, Microsoft Project and Asta Powerproject. Her analytical approach integrates technology and data-driven techniques, applying them to large-scale datasets to support robust and transparent delay analysis. Zoi holds an M.Eng. from the National Technical University of Athens, an M.Sc. from University College London and an M.Sc. from King’s College London. She has authored and co-authored publications on delay analysis and construction law.
