About Ali
Ali Khaki has more than 16 years of experience across the restructuring mid-market space, acting as banker, principal and advisor. Ali has experience across several sectors, notably real estate, retail, casual dining, mining and manufacturing.
Ali’s recent real estate experience includes an independent business and liquidity review for a large prime London development on behalf of the senior lenders, advising the Revolving Credit Facility Lenders of Intu Properties plc, several Independent Business Reviews (“IBR”) for UK shopping centres and a consensual restructuring of a London-based mid-market housebuilder. Ali has also advised several credit funds on the potential purchase of non-performing loans in the real estate sector.
Ali has been quoted in the Financial Times and Real Estate Capital, as well as being named as a leading advisor in the Real Estate Restructuring space by Green Street News.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ali worked at a pan-European credit and real estate fund, sourcing and evaluating distressed credit and real estate investment opportunities.
Ali holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is a Chartered Accountant and an Insolvency Practitioner. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Turnaround Management Association.
