Carlos Vidal

Carlos Vidal has more than 15 years of experience advising telecom, media and technology (“TMT”) players around the globe. Mr. Vidal specializes in strategy definition, commercial and organizational transformations, business planning, due diligence and large-scale project strategic management. Mr. Vidal has advised C-suite TMT executives and regulatory bodies in more than 20 countries across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (“EMEA”) and Latin America regions.

Mr. Vidal supports clients in addressing strategic and complex transformational challenges and opportunities. His areas of expertise include corporate and commercial transformations and business planning; organization and governance transformations; analytics base management; and commercial and technical due diligence. He is also experienced in the sports and entertainment industries and has advised on culture strategies and operations.

Prior to its acquisition by FTI Consulting, Mr. Vidal spent most of his professional career at Delta Partners, a TMT strategy consulting and investment banking boutique, now integrated into FTI Consulting’s TMT practice. Preceding Delta Partners, he worked at Intuit Strategy Innovation lab, a boutique consulting company focused on sports and entertainment.

Mr. Vidal is fluent in English, Spanish and Catalan and is conversational in French.

Relevant Experience:

• Led the development of various large-scale entertainment strategies supporting clients build and grow an ecosystem that drives economic and social impact.
• Led multiple commercial transformation programs for telecom players across EMEA; focused on value proposition revamp, go-to-market and customer and employee experience (“CEX”) strategy definition and product launch
• Developed multiple market entry strategies for telecom operators, including the start-up of three telecommunications companies across three continents
• Supported various TMT players in defining organization, operating and governance model transformation
• Closely collaborated with various PE firms on the due diligence of multiple TMT assets across Europe
• Collaborated with a European football club in the definition of its corporate strategy; focused on designing vision and setting core values; included ownership structure and club model, governance model, revenue growth and growth enablers development
