Christopher DelGrosso has 15 years of healthcare consulting and leadership experience and has delivered significant financial results and operational improvements for medical practices, health systems, private equity firms and health technology companies. Mr. DelGrosso has specific expertise in the areas of margin improvement and financial transformation, post-merger integration, value creation and revenue cycle management. Additionally, he is experienced in labor and workforce development, as well as technology assessment and implementation.
Mr. DelGrosso has a proven record of successfully managing projects and teams to achieve clients’ strategic, financial and operational goals. He has consulted for several clients with more than $2.5 billion in annual revenue, as well as independent and affiliated medical practices ranging from two to more than 100 physicians. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. DelGrosso was a Manager within Ernst & Young’s Healthcare Advisory practice and was a Senior Manager at Flatiron Health, a health technology startup that was acquired for more than $2 billion.
In the area of revenue solutions, Mr. DelGrosso has experience managing all aspects of the professional revenue cycle department, including pre-registration, prior authorization, coding, billing, accounts receivable, denials management and payment posting for oncology clinics. In addition, he has been responsible for more than $100 million in annual collections.
Relevant Experience:
- Led large-scale transformation projects, including managing the operational due diligence, post-merger integration and operating model standardization for more than 10 medical groups as part of a national eye care rollup
- Led turnaround design for a large publicly traded healthcare technology company; included execution of significant cost takeout and revenue enhancement strategies
- Led a comprehensive assessment of a dental services organization (“DSO”); evaluated the feasibility and efficacy of existing improvement plans and de novo analyses, including the likelihood of achieving a substantial positive EBITDA; analyzed initiatives to identify opportunities for improved financial and operational performance
