Dana Wood

Dana Wood identifies and implements solutions to enable a sustainable healthcare revenue cycle and has more than 15 years of experience in providing tactical operational planning and execution, leadership management of domestic and global resources, process improvement and team development. Ms. Wood focuses on accounts receivable management and strategy, operational assessments, and process improvement for multi-site facilities, academic medical centers, rural health and critical access hospitals.

Ms. Wood has been successful in partnering with clients and other stakeholders in executing accounts receivable management strategies, improving performance measures, and achieving desired results – even in challenging environments, including throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. She has led both small and large-scale projects for a variety of healthcare provider settings while also managing responsibilities within her various roles for building organizational structures, developing high-performing teams and achieving financial goals.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Wood worked at leading industry consulting firms as well as a leading healthcare technology provider, with increasing levels of responsibility in healthcare business operations and management. Most recently, Ms. Wood was responsible for day-to-day operations, strategic planning and execution, and managed both domestic and global teams to achieve operational performance results.

Ms. Wood holds a B.S. in Marketing and Management from University of South Carolina as well as a Masters of Healthcare Administration & Policy from the Medical University of South Carolina.
