Matt Callaghan

Matt Callaghan is a Senior Managing Director in the Corporate Finance & Restructuring team at FTI Consulting and leads the UK mid-market and insolvency offering.

Matt has over 17 years of experience leading a large number of high-profile and complex restructuring and insolvency cases. He has worked with a large number of mid-market businesses and their stakeholders including financial institutions, government and corporates. His recent experience has been across a wide range of industries including property, waste management, automotive, mining, retail, care homes, casual dining and manufacturing.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Matt was a partner at PwC, where he undertook a variety of restructuring assignments. Having been based in both Leeds and London during his career, he also completed secondments to the Middle East and to the RBS Global Restructuring Group. In his role at PwC he was also overall UK Lender Channel Leader.

Matt is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner.
