Andrea Leone

Andrea Leone is a Senior Director in FTI Consulting’s Construction, Projects & Assets practice, based in Montreal, Canada. Over the past seven years, Mr. Leone has provided consulting services across the construction industry, specializing in the preparation and evaluation of construction claims and expert reports.

Mr. Leone assists clients with forensic schedule and delay analyses, productivity and disruption assessments and the evaluation of change orders and quantum. He has worked on projects valued up to $4 billion, including light rail transit systems, bridges, highways, institutional buildings, wastewater treatment plants, pipelines and high- and low-voltage substations. Mr. Leone has been appointed as an expert to provide independent opinions on schedule delays and productivity issues in support of litigation hearings.

Mr. Leone’s technical expertise includes critical path delay analysis using a range of industry-recognized methodologies. His quantum work covers the evaluation of disruption and productivity losses, acceleration costs (labor, equipment and materials), prolongation costs and standby claims. Mr. Leone is adept at handling large data sets and selecting the most appropriate methodology tailored to the unique characteristics of each project. He is particularly experienced in productivity and disruption analyses that require quantifying complex and often difficult-to-isolate impacts in a clear, defensible and analytically rigorous manner.

Mr. Leone holds a B.Eng. in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering and an M.Eng. in Structural Engineering and Construction Materials, both from McGill University.

Mr. Leone is a licensed Professional Engineer with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (“OIQ”) and is fluent in English, French and Greek.
