Jasper Schrijver

Jasper Schrijver has close to 20 years of experience in human capital and large transformation programmes within aviation, travel and other labour-intensive businesses. Jasper leads the firm’s European Human Capital offering and co-leads EMEA & APAC Aviation.

Jasper has shaped, led and executed more than 50 strategy, performance improvement, organisational transformation and workforce excellence assignments for airlines, airports, private equity firms and other labour-intensive businesses on five different continents, with a focus on creating long-term sustainable value for his clients.

Jasper brings deep expertise in target operating model design and implementation, workforce productivity and cost optimisation, union negotiations for collective labour agreements, merger and acquisition due diligence, turnaround planning and hands-on execution leadership.

At FTI Consulting, Jasper Schrijver co-leads the Corporate Finance Benelux offices in Amsterdam and Brussels, covering Transformation, Transaction & Turnaround services. Additionally, he leads FTI’s European Human Capital offering and is the co-lead for Aviation EMEA & Asia Pacific.

Prior to FTI Consulting, Mr. Schrijver was responsible for leading key elements of the transformation agenda at Swissport International, which has a footprint in 50 countries and 45,000 employees globally. Prior to this, he was a Managing Director at Accenture, leading the workforce excellence offering for Accenture’s Travel Practice and a Vice President at Seabury Group.

Relevant Experience:

• Provided economic analysis support in more than 50 collective bargaining agreements across multiple industries on a global basis
• Restructured and transformed (unionized) labour of several travel businesses on the verge of insolvency or distress, realising annual labour savings ranging from 10% to 30%
• (Re)designed and implemented more than a dozen operating models and organisational structures, ensuring alignment with their business strategy and making them “fit-for-future”
