About Mark
Mark McCall leads one of FTI Consulting’s five global business segments, overseeing professionals across major financial and political centers worldwide. Under his leadership, the Strategic Communications segment has established itself as a global market leader, advising clients during high-stakes moments of crisis and transformation — including complex transactions, capital markets activity, restructurings, crisis and litigation matters, and public policy challenges.
Mark also serves as the Americas lead of the Economic & Financial Consulting segment, where he oversees a team of economists advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, policy and regulation, valuation and damages, financial reporting, dispute advisory and international arbitration.
An advisor to some of the world’s largest corporations, Mark has guided leadership teams through some of the most critical moments in a company’s lifecycle, shaping communications strategies for major IPOs, M&A transactions, restructurings, crisis and litigation matters, and public policy challenges. His clients — ranging from global consumer brands to financial institutions — rely on his integrated approach to finance, communications and corporate positioning during periods of heightened scrutiny and risk.
Before leading the Strategic Communications segment, Mark served as President and COO of Strategic Communications and built the firm’s Special Situations practice into a market-defining advisory group. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles in investor relations and corporate finance at Burson-Marsteller and Hill & Knowlton.
Mark holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
