Robert Stanislaro

Robert Stanislaro is a Senior Managing Director for the Healthcare & Life Sciences practice within the Strategic Communications segment at FTI Consulting. Mr. Stanislaro co-leads the Life Sciences subsector team and is the Head of Healthcare & Life Sciences, Corporate Reputation. He is based in New York.

Mr. Stanislaro’s diverse experience working with healthcare and life sciences companies and unique combination of scientific and business knowledge enable him to counsel clients on a variety of issues that are critical for driving enterprise value. He has particular expertise in corporate communications, capital markets communications and issues management, and is a strategic advisor to several C-suite executives in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.

Throughout his career, Mr. Stanislaro has developed communications programs for leading healthcare and life sciences companies and medical societies, including Takeda, bluebird bio, Shire, Eli Lilly, Astellas, GE Healthcare, Smith & Nephew and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. These programs have focused on positioning his clients as thought leaders in their respective industries, communicating through strategic transition periods and supporting a number of inflection points, including clinical trial results, product approvals and divestitures, financings, collaborations, mergers and acquisitions, peer-reviewed research and management changes.

Mr. Stanislaro also has considerable experience working with emerging biotechnology companies and research organizations, including ImmunoGen, TESARO, Karyopharm, Kiniksa, Quintiles and Duke Clinical Research Institute.

Mr. Stanislaro holds an M.B.A. in marketing from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business and a B.S. in biology from Wagner College.
