Former FBI Assistant Director Brian Hale Joins FTI Consulting’s Cybersecurity Practice
Based in Washington, D.C., Mr. Hale joins FTI Consulting from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”), where he most recently served as Assistant Director in the Office of Public Affairs, providing senior-level counsel to FBI leadership on cybersecurity operational and policy matters.

As Assistant Director in the FBI Office of Public Affairs, Mr. Hale provided senior-level counsel to FBI leadership on cybersecurity operational and policy matters and managed national crisis response regarding high-stakes cybersecurity matters. He coordinated with the National Security Council, federal agencies and foreign partners regarding cybersecurity matters that carried national or international implications.
Prior to this role with the FBI, Mr. Hale worked for the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence, where he led communications and strategic outreach and engagement efforts with the private sector, and also worked for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
