FTI Consulting Adds Three Cybersecurity Experts to London and Dubai Teams
London, 5 September 2023 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the appointment of Laurance Dine, Adam Harrison and Chris Murphy as Managing Directors within the firm’s Cybersecurity practice.

Mr. Dine, who is based in London, brings to FTI Consulting more than 20 years of experience in professional services, digital forensics and cybersecurity incident response. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, he was a Partner and the Global Lead of X-Force Incident Response at IBM, where he helped clients build and manage integrated security programmes to protect their organisations from global threats. He provided response services during cybersecurity crisis incidents and advised business leaders on all facets of incident management and recovery, from preparation to full remediation.
At FTI Consulting, Mr. Dine will oversee the investigation of cybersecurity incidents on behalf of clients, in addition to building and managing integrated cybersecurity programs to protect against global threats and cybersecurity incidents.
Mr. Harrison, who is also based in London, joins FTI Consulting with more than 13 years of complex investigations and incident response experience, including building and leading global teams in responding to large-scale cybersecurity incidents across EMEA, Asia Pacific and the Americas. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, he was the Managing Director of Lodestone Security, as well as working as a Global Delivery Lead on IBM’s X-Force Incident Response team.
In his role at FTI Consulting, Mr. Harrison will help position organizations to quickly respond to and recover from cyber attacks and crises. He will also focus on post-incident investigations to determine the root cause and identify areas for improvement.
Mr. Murphy, who is based in Dubai, further strengthens FTI Consulting’s Cybersecurity team in the Middle East, joining with more than 15 years of cybersecurity consulting experience across multiple sectors, from strategic implementation to technical projects and national security initiatives. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, he was an Associate Partner for Security Services at IBM, where he advised a diverse portfolio of clients. During his career, Mr. Murphy has played a pivotal role in supporting clients in more than 200 cybersecurity projects across 30 countries.
In his role at FTI Consulting, Mr. Murphy will focus on helping clients build robust cybersecurity transformation programs and improve their cybersecurity resilience. He also will support clients in the public sector and manage portfolio security for global investment funds.
The appointment of Mr. Dine, Mr. Harrison and Mr. Murphy continues the Cybersecurity practice’s global expansion, following the appointments of Mike Driscoll, who joined as a Senior Managing Director in New York, Eva Kwok, who joined as a Senior Managing Director in Hong Kong, and three senior hires based in the U.S.
