FTI Consulting Expands International Arbitration Practice in Toronto with Managing Director Tara Singh
Washington, D.C., June 21, 2021 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the continued investment in its International Arbitration practice within the Economic Consulting segment with the appointment of Tara Singh as a Managing Director, based in Toronto.
Ms. Singh brings over 15 years of experience specializing in the quantification of economic damages and the valuation of businesses and other assets, particularly in the context of complex commercial disputes, including breach of contract matters, intellectual property and securities fraud litigation, class actions and other financial disputes. She will continue to focus on these areas and will play a role in the future growth of the practice in Canada and across North America.

Ms. Singh’s industry expertise includes manufacturing, real estate, energy, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, financial services, construction and franchises. She has prepared numerous expert and valuation reports for submission to Canadian, U.S. and international courts.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Singh was a Senior Manager at Cohen Hamilton Steger & Co. Inc., where she specialized in damage quantification and business valuation. Previously, she was a Manager in the transactions and advisory practice of a Big Four accounting firm and focused on valuations for transactional and financial reporting purposes.
