FTI Consulting Expands Trial Services Practice with Four Appointments
Washington, D.C., March 1, 2021 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the appointment of four professionals to the firm’s Trial Services practice within the Forensic and Litigation Consulting segment, including Managing Directors Scott Duval and James Watkins, Senior Director Andrew Skim and Director Rich Merisier.

Based in Miami, Mr. Duval has more than 25 years of experience supporting trial and arbitration teams, both remote and in person, providing litigation technology consulting, project management, multimedia production and graphic design. He has supported clients in proceedings in state and federal courts, the U.S. International Trade Commission and several international arbitration venues. He will work closely with clients to help plan presentation strategy and apply proven methodologies to deliver persuasive presentations. Mr. Duval joins FTI Consulting from TrialGraphix, where he was a founding member in 1993.
Based near Philadelphia, Mr. Watkins has over 20 years of experience providing presentation technology, communication design, remote virtual proceedings, litigation software implementation, project management, e-discovery and multimedia production. He joins the firm from TrialGraphix, where he worked on matters in U.S. federal and state courts, the U.S. International Trade Commission, and in Europe and Asia. At FTI Consulting, he will consult with clients to recommend strategic and appropriate technology and design solutions for a range of complex scenarios.
Based in Melbourne, Australia, Mr. Skim brings more than 20 years of experience as an evidence presentation consultant. He joins FTI Consulting from Deloitte, where he was a Virtual Hearings & Evidence Presentation Manager and specialized in directing clients through the technical production and presentation of evidence in hearings, arbitrations and royal commissions throughout Australia and developing virtual hearing solutions for courts, investigative bodies and government agencies.
Based in Miami, Mr. Merisier brings more than 15 years of experience supporting trial teams before judges, juries and arbitration panels across the United States on diverse cases involving intellectual property, biomedical, environmental, insurance and wrongful termination matters, among others. Utilizing sophisticated technologies, he helps trial teams capture, recall and display all forms of demonstrative evidence during hearings, mediations, arbitrations and trials. Mr. Merisier joins FTI Consulting from TrialGraphix.
