FTI Consulting Strengthens Construction Solutions Practice in Spain with Addition of María Sánchez-Palomo

Madrid, 22 September 2022 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the appointment of María Sánchez-Palomo as a Managing Director in the firm’s Construction Solutions practice in Madrid.

Ms. Sánchez-Palomo has more than 17 years of experience in project and contract management within the construction industry. She specialises in large, international infrastructure and construction projects and advises on a range of issues, including contracts, claims and disputes. Ms. Sánchez-Palomo regularly advises on construction-related arbitrations and represents clients at arbitral proceedings. Her arrival enhances the bench of construction expertise in the firm’s practice in Spain.

Prior to her arrival, Ms. Sánchez-Palomo worked for 16 years at INECO, where she held executive management positions such as Chief Operating Officer. Whilst there she managed several high-profile projects, including the high-speed rail connection between the cities of Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia.

Ms. Sánchez-Palomo is a member of the College of Roads, Canals and Ports Engineers in Spain and was awarded the Best Young Engineer Award by the Madrid section of the Professional Association of Civil Engineers in 2017.
