Lewin Higgins-Green Sets Out Benefits of UK’s Non-Dom Tax Reform

29 March 2024 — In a letter to the editor published by the Financial Times, Lewin Higgins-Green, a Senior Managing Director in the UK Tax practice at FTI Consulting, outlines why the simplification of the UK’s non-dom tax rules will be widely welcomed.

Mr. Higgins-Green wrote, “This could feasibly be the first real simplification to the ever-growing complexity of the tax regime in many years. It should be widely welcomed by those that qualify and should enable eligible newcomers to benefit, even if they don’t have the means for costly and bespoke tax advice.”
