Harald Hertel Joins FTI Consulting’s Cybersecurity Practice

Frankfurt, 5 September 2024 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) has appointed Harald Hertel as Managing Director in the firm’s Cybersecurity practice. He joins FTI Consulting from the consulting firm Ankura, where he led the cybersecurity business in Germany. Prior to that, Mr. Hertel worked in the forensic technology practice at KPMG.

Mr. Hertel brings nearly 20 years of experience leading digital forensic investigations to FTI Consulting. He advises on data leaks, intellectual property theft, fraud, misappropriation of corporate funds and other areas of crime and misconduct. In addition, Mr. Hertel has led a number of cyber incident prevention and response projects for clients.

Following the recent appointment of Dr. Stefan Heissner in June, Mr. Hertel’s arrival reinforces FTI Consulting’s continued growth in the area of cybersecurity and forensic investigations.
