New Addition to FTI Consulting: Harald Hertel Joins the Cybersecurity Practice

Frankfurt, 5 September 2024 — Harald Hertel is a new Managing Director at FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) in the area of cybersecurity. He comes from the US consulting firm Ankura, where he led the cybersecurity business in Germany. Prior to that, he worked for several years in the forensic technology team at KPMG.

In nearly 20 years of professional experience, Harald has led and conducted numerous digital forensic investigations to investigate data leaks, intellectual property theft, fraud, misappropriation of corporate funds and other areas of crime and misconduct. He has led cyber incident prevention and response projects, including an attack on a global tourism company in Germany.

With the recruitment of Harald Hertel, FTI Consulting is further expanding its expertise in the areas of cybersecurity and forensics.
