Space and Satellite Expert Ernie Chung Joins FTI Consulting as a Managing Director in the TMT Practice
Washington, D.C., April 27, 2022 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the appointment of Ernie Chung as a Managing Director in the Telecom, Media & Technology (“TMT”) industry practice within the firm’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment.
Based in Denver, Mr. Chung brings over 22 years of experience providing a broad range of transaction-related services to investors and corporate M&A teams, with a focus on the space industry. At FTI Consulting, Mr. Chung will focus on the space and satellite value chain, including target identification, commercial and operational due diligence, post-merger integration planning and merger execution.

In addition to Mr. Chung’s aerospace and defense experience, he has worked with many other high-tech and highly engineered products, including home automation, IoT, energy efficiency, nuclear power generation and power sports. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Chung was the space-domain practice leader at a management consulting firm, where his clients included satellite suppliers, launchers and operators. Previously, Mr. Chung spent six years as managing partner at a strategy and management consultancy that he co-founded. Prior to that, he spent a year as acting chief operating officer and chief financial officer for a home automation company.
Mr. Chung began his consulting career at Booz Allen Hamilton in McLean, Va., where he spent seven years on strategy, management and technology consulting in the aerospace and defense and energy sectors.
