Nicolas has been with FTI Consulting for over ten years in our Paris office. We asked him to reflect on his growth.
Describe what you do at FTI Consulting.
I am a Senior Director on the Economic and Financial Consulting team in Paris, working mainly on the valuation of damages in the context of disputes (litigation and international arbitration).
How has FTI Consulting evolved since you joined?
FTI Consulting has experienced phenomenal growth over the past 10 years, both globally and in France. When I joined in 2013, the Paris office had 30 employees. We now have more than 100 employees in France thanks to the development of many new segments. Recently, a ‘One FTI’ initiative was launched to develop knowledge of other segments and to foster cooperation between teams, and we will soon be moving into a brand-new office!
What has kept you at FTI Consulting?
The interesting cases and the team. The opportunity to work on a variety of assignments has allowed me to develop a diverse set of hard skills such as accounting, finance, tax, writing and modeling and soft skills such as people management and client interaction.

Global; expert-based; small, hands-on engagement teams.
What is your greatest accomplishment?
My greatest accomplishment is balancing a demanding job and a fulfilling personal life.
