About Jon
Jon Priestley is a Managing Director in the Strategic Communications segment of FTI Consulting, and is based in London. Jon is a strategy, planning and digital specialist advising many of the world's largest and most complex organisations on their reputation and communications strategy, across the financial services, technology and FMCG sectors.
Jon's particular specialism is in online reputation management and crafting integrated, data-led campaigns. This includes using SEO tactics to ensure search engine prominence for clients, developing sophisticated listening strategies to understand stakeholder sentiment and identifying and engaging with influencers to build online advocacy.
Jon has devised listening and monitoring systems for global institutions, instructed the C-suite of multinationals on their digital strategy and led multi-market campaigns on critical corporate issues such as sustainability, supply chain and business restructuring.
Jon has also overseen multiple organisational redesign projects, focussing on how to structure teams, upskill staff and facilitate knowledge sharing in a digital environment. This includes spearheading the creation of a global digital communications team for a global automotive client, advising on the formation of the Reputation and Strategic Planning function at a leading UK bank and assisting a leading pharmaceutical on transforming its entire internal communications platform.
