Julie Kliger specializes in working with healthcare delivery systems, bio/med-tech companies and philanthropic foundations, to design, optimize and implement new approaches to care delivery. Ms. Kliger is the Enterprise Technology and Digital Transformation Co-Leader of the Health Solutions practice.
Ms. Kliger has extensive knowledge and experience in developing and implementing new tech-enabled digital care models, optimizing existing clinical operations, workflow redesign, measurement, quality and M&A&I services. She is a Subject Matter Expert on change management in the clinical setting. She focuses on client service that is highly collaborative, pragmatic and appropriately creative in order to find new frontiers of value. Ms. Kliger serves clients looking to develop or refresh, create forward-looking strategy, translate technology into real-world clinical operations, optimize existing processes and/or implement new change into dynamic organizations, as well as those considering or managing mergers, acquisitions and integrations.
Ms. Kliger’s past professional engagements include the University of California Office of the President, the California Association of Public Hospitals, the University of California (UC) at UC San Francisco, UC San Diego and UC Los Angeles, Stanford University Medical Center, Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), Sutter Health, 3M, Fuji-Xerox, Hewlett Packard, Wolters Kluwer Health, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), and Edwards Life Sciences.
Ms. Kliger was named a Fellow of the California Health Care Foundation’s (CHCF) Executive Healthcare Leadership Program. In 2017, 2016 and 2015 she was one of only ten people named “Top HealthCare Voice” by LinkedIn.
Ms. Kliger is a published author on the topics of developing best-in-class clinical programs, implementation and translation, change management, outcomes’ research, and workforce engagement. Ms. Kliger currently serves as a Volunteer Board of Director for a $2.5B health system and Chair the Enterprise-Wide Committee on Quality, Safety and Patient Experience and Vice-Chair Executive Compensation Committee.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Kliger was a Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal, leading the Health Innovation Practice. She was also an Associate Faculty and Fellowship Advisor at University at California, San Francisco and Stanford University.
