Ajith Henry co-leads the Strategic Communications segment in the Middle East and leads the Financial Services and Capital Markets practice in the region. Situated in Dubai and covering the region, Ajith has extensive experience in financial services, transaction communications and investor relations, advising several financial regulators and public-listed companies in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, India and Africa.
Ajith has trained CEOs, CFOs and IR leaders to develop and articulate compelling equity stories especially in the context of engaging and attracting international investors. He recently advised a Dubai-based major state-owned entity on a privatization mandate. He led the team that advised a UAE- based ports and logistics operator and a Saudi-based utilities company on their IPO preparations. His capital markets experience includes driving communications for several IPOs, M&As and DCM transactions in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf.
Ajith has worked in the UAE and KSA for 12 years advising financial institutions and corporations including the Central Bank of the UAE, Saudi Exchange, Emirates NBD Group, Standard Chartered, EFG Hermes, BNY Mellon, KPMG, Zurich, Morgan Stanley, Saudi Aramco, and Saudi Public Pension Agency, among others. Prior to moving to the UAE, Ajith gained deep financial services experience having spent nearly five years at a leading WPP agency, Hill+Knowlton Strategies, in Mumbai and New Delhi working for large buyout funds and investment banks such as Blackstone, Goldman Sachs, and Citi, among others.
Ajith received a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Oklahoma City University and an Advanced Diploma in Media Studies from Management Development Institute of Singapore. He is a Certified Investor Relations Officer recognised by the UK IR Society.
