Allan Teofanescu

Allan Teofanescu has more than 15 years of experience advising private equity investors, technology companies and corporate clients on acquisitions, value creation and technology-driven transformation programmes. Alan specialises in the technology sector, with a particular focus on software and digital services. At FTI Consulting, he advises private equity firms throughout the investment lifecycle, from investment decisions and commercial due diligence to portfolio company transformations and exit preparation.

Alan’s expertise covers technology assessments, operational value creation, IT strategy and major transformation programmes. He supports large organisations on technology strategy and transformation initiatives, including operating model redesign, IT cost optimisation, architecture definition, core systems selection and programme audits. Additionally, he has served as interim chief information officer (“CIO”) for a major European public sector organisation, leading a multiyear digital transformation programme.

Alan’s sector experience spans B2B software, including vertical enterprise resource programs (“ERPs”), horizontal ERPs and supply chain management. He also brings expertise in digital services, cybersecurity and professional services.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Allan was a Partner at The Boston Consulting Group.
