Andrew Kirkpatrick

Andrew Kirkpatrick is a Managing Director in the Transaction Advisory Services group of the FTI Consulting's Corporate Finance practice and is based in London. Mr. Kirkpatrick has more than 10 years of experience advising multi-national corporations and private equity houses in their transactions, supporting their due diligence processes and providing assistance on acquisitions, disposals and other financial advisory support, including strategic portfolio accounts review, modeling and vendor assistance.

Mr. Kirkpatrick has experience across a multitude of industries, including automotive, consumer goods, industrial products, leisure and internet retailers.

Mr. Kirkpatrick has held senior advisory roles on projects covering a range of commercial and financial due diligence issues across Europe. Roles include due diligence and restructuring advisory on a stressed power solutions provider in Belgium for the Gores Group; evaluation of refinancing options on a France based €250 million turnover tier one automotive supplier for Cerberus; advising BP during the carve-out of Innovene; supporting Carpetright on the acquisition of businesses in Belgium; and advising Reuters on the sale of its France based financial information distribution business, ORT SAS.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Kirkpatrick worked in the Transaction Advisory business of KPMG in London and Barcelona. Before that he worked for KPMG in Johannesburg within the Corporate Finance and Audit departments.

Mr. Kirkpatrick holds a B.Com. with honours from the University of Natal, South Africa and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of South Africa. Mr. Kirkpatrick speaks several European languages including French, Spanish and Swedish.
