About Ankit
Ankit Javia has close to 15 years of experience in consulting and industry, with expertise in operations and supply chain management, process improvement, network and footprint optimization and inventory management. Mr. Javia also advises on cost-to-serve analyses, data analytics, sales and operations planning (“S&OP”), sourcing and organizational design. His experience spans automotive, aviation, chemicals, food and beverage, healthcare, hospitality, industrials, retail, telecom and third-party logistics.
Mr. Javia leads initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce costs and optimize operations. He develops transportation and logistics strategies, network optimization approaches and product allocation models that increase revenue, improve inventory turnover and reduce distribution costs. His work includes redesigning supply chain processes, realigning S&OP and implementing data-driven, technology-enabled workflows that deliver measurable results.
Mr. Javia designs future-state organizations, conducts activity analyses to identify cost reduction opportunities and leads sourcing and procurement initiatives that deliver significant savings. Across multiple industries, he applies practical, high-impact solutions to complex operational challenges, leveraging both consulting and hands-on industry experience.
Before joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Javia worked in Capgemini Consulting’s Operations Transformation practice and held industry roles in sourcing, work process strategy and maintenance engineering. His combined consulting and operational experience enables delivery of solutions that drive measurable impact across diverse clients and industries.
Relevant Experience:
- Developed and conducted a North Star transportation and logistics strategy for a $3 billion manufacturer; identified and executed more than $6 million in savings through rate comparisons, shipment consolidation and supplier management
- Evaluated a food supply chain to determine cost-to-serve from every potential facility to every end customer by product; mapped a network optimization approach to ideally utilize production facilities, warehouses and third-party logistics partners and inform pricing decisions based on cost-to-deliver
- Designed the future-state organization of two merging supply chain service providers with approximately 4,000 employees in the aerospace industry and conducted an activity analysis across seven operating and back-office functions to determine duplicative work and cost reduction opportunities
- Designed a product allocation model by analyzing performance metrics (profit, revenue, pricing discounts, inventory turnover, gross margin and store experience) for a specialty shoe store retailer, leading to an approximately 15% increase in revenue and an approximately 10% increase in inventory turnover
- Conducted a distribution network optimization assessment for a global consumer goods manufacturer and identified facility consolidation and pool-point opportunities resulting in 10%–20% distribution cost reduction across North America
