Aurélien Louis

Aurélien Louis is a Senior Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s Transactions practice, based in Paris. Aurélien has more than 16 years of M&A experience, advising private equity firms and corporate clients on complex transactions. Throughout his career, he has led financial due diligence engagements on more than 150 transactions worldwide.

Aurélien specializes in financial due diligence across a broad range of transaction types and situations, including buy-and-build strategies, complex carve-outs, cross-border transactions, leveraged buyouts, asset deals, distressed M&A and refinancing processes. He has extensive experience supporting international investors in their acquisitions in France, as well as corporate clients pursuing acquisition and divestment projects across Europe, the United States and Asia. Aurélien has broad sector experience, with particular expertise in energy and infrastructure, software and digital services, retail and consumer products and diversified industrial businesses.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Aurélien was a Partner in Deloitte’s M&A Transaction Services practice in Paris. He also spent three years at Deloitte’s global headquarters in New York, where he led financial due diligence engagements, primarily in cross-border contexts, and contributed to the development of the Transaction Services practice serving the European–U.S. M&A corridor. He holds an M.Sc. in Management from ESSEC Business School.
