About Bethany
Bethany Wheatley is a Managing Director in the Digital & Insights team in London. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Bethany was a Director at Brunswick Group, a global corporate advisory firm, where she was a digital and litigation specialist and sat on the European Fee Committee. She was responsible for helping to grow the digital team, co-creating IP like Connected Leadership and advising clients on critical issues from contentious litigation and crisis situations to M&A and IPO work, alongside corporate reputation building. The litigation and crisis team she was part of has been ranked Band 1 by Chambers & Partners for both litigation and crisis communications for five years.
Bethany began her career in politics, running digital on both of Boris Johnson’s successful London mayoral campaigns and was the Digital Director for the Conservative Party from 2016-2017. Nearly two decades of developing and running integrated communications campaigns across political, corporate and nonprofit clients in the UK, European Union and United States has given her a clear understanding of how online channels can be leveraged to reach stakeholders at all levels, from investors, employees and consumers through to industry leaders and political decision makers.
Bethany received an M.S. in Public Policy from The London School of Economics. She did her undergraduate work at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia, and graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in History and Political Science.
