Brendan Brbich

Brendan Brbich specializes in managing complex strategic programs across the life sciences value chain, with more than 10 years’ industry experience advising and delivering corporate strategy initiatives and managing operational improvement programs within commercial, R&D and SG&A functions.

Mr. Brbich advises on growth strategy and pathways to commercialization. He has developed commercial strategies and insights for pharma, med-tech and contract service providers — including commercial assessments and due diligence.

Working closely with management teams and functional leaders, Mr. Brbich has assisted numerous biopharma businesses in vision-setting, strategic choice structuring and analysis for key operating model and go-to-market choices, portfolio divestments and licensing, and outsourcing. He has supported biopharma, med-tech and pharma services organizations in developing business cases to support strategic recommendations at the board level. Additionally, he had led growth and margin transformation initiatives, including the integration of new businesses, entry into new geographies and digital transformation.

Mr. Brbich has an M.Sc. in Public Health (Health Economics) from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, he was a member of the Healthcare and Life Sciences Strategy and Transformation team at a Big Four consulting firm.

Relevant Experience:

• Delivered a portfolio profitability assessment for a mid-size pharma company; identified board-endorsed recommendations for a go-to-market transformation to achieve business targets
• Supported a U.S. biotech client with a global commercial launch; oversaw execution of cross-functional activities with commercialization partners
• Advised a mid-size private pharma company on value creation opportunities, including product divestment and out-licensing
• Led business case development to support a commercial systems transformation for a global med-tech company
• Led various integration planning and post-merger integration initiatives within the R&D function of a global biopharma company
