Claire Dilé advises on European technology regulation, digital governance and AI policy. Claire works with technology companies and businesses to navigate complex regulatory environments, anticipate political developments and shape effective engagement strategies across the European Union.

Claire combines frontline regulatory experience with deep institutional insight. She has advised on some of Europe’s most consequential digital policy debates, including platform governance, online safety, fundamental rights, trade and AI governance. Her work sits at the intersection of innovation, regulation and geopolitical dynamics.

Claire has represented major technology companies in high-level dialogues with European institutions, national governments and regulatory authorities and coordinated Europe-wide engagement strategies. Claire designs and executes sophisticated advocacy campaigns, builds strategic coalitions and helps organisations position themselves as constructive partners in the regulatory process.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Claire led European public policy strategy for a high-growth technology company, overseeing regulatory positioning across multiple jurisdictions. Earlier in her career, she worked within the EU institutions, advising on the negotiation of landmark digital and trade legislation, giving her first-hand understanding of political decision-making and legislative dynamics at the EU level.

Claire is particularly recognised for her ability to translate complex regulatory developments into clear strategic business implications, navigate high-stakes and multi-level crisis situations, align regulatory strategy with commercial objectives and engage effectively with policymakers, regulators and civil society stakeholders. Her areas of expertise include European technology and digital regulation, AI governance and emerging technology policy, platform regulation and trust and safety, online safety and fundamental rights, regulatory strategy and political risk management and EU institutional engagement and legislative negotiation.
