Donia Fahmi

Donia Fahmi specializes in forensic construction programming and delay analysis with more than 10 years of experience in the construction and engineering industries. Donia has acted as an appointed delay expert and has supported appointed experts to provide consulting services focused on forensic delay analysis in London and Dubai.

Donia has extensive international arbitration, adjudication and litigation experience, having worked on some of the largest projects in the UK, Asia, Europe, South America and the Middle East, with a focus on high-rise and mixed-use development projects. She supports clients by providing project advisory services on live construction projects. Additionally, she has prepared and delivered expert reports for international arbitrations under the ICC, HKIAC, LCIA and SIAC rules.

Donia holds a M.Sc. in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from King’s College London and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (“FCIArb”). She is fluent in both English and Arabic.

Relevant Experience:

• Appointed as the delay expert in a litigation on behalf of the client for a SAR 1.9 billion residential development in Saudi Arabia
• Appointed as the delay expert in an adjudication on behalf of the contractor for a £150 million major landmark redevelopment project in London
• Served as the lead assistant to the appointed delay expert on behalf of the client in relation to a CEPANI arbitration of a €35 million data center in Belgium
• Served as the lead assistant to the appointed delay expert on behalf of the main contractor in relation to an ICC arbitration of a $100 million luxury resort in Grenada
• Provided consulting services to a Saudi government entity in relation to a SAR 2 billion major residential development in Riyadh; included supporting facilities such as schools, mosques and entertainment facilities
• Served as the lead assistant to the appointed delay expert on behalf of the main contractor in relation to a HKIAC arbitration of a major multimillion-dollar residential development in Hong Kong
