Evie Mackay

Evie Mackay is a leader in the Technology segment’s Managed Document Review practice in EMEA. She is a key driver of the delivery and growth of the practice’s capabilities throughout the U.K., Ireland, France, Germany and other European markets, and focuses on the use of technology solutions and workflows to achieve efficiency and quality in high-stakes litigation and regulatory matters. She has more than a decade of experience in the legal field, having served as a senior managing attorney and litigation consultant and in international leadership roles.

Ms. Mackay was previously Senior Director of Delivery U.K. and Ireland at Special Counsel, where she acted as the client relationship liaison for local and international clients, advising on service offerings, budget management over the life of a matter and on-time delivery of all U.K. managed review and e-discovery engagements. She has extensive experience working with in-house counsel, compliance and business process teams to navigate the impact of changing government regulations on review matters and execution.

Ms. Mackay has also developed and implemented workflows and analytics methodologies that leverage leading e-discovery platforms, for matters spanning antitrust, financial regulation and the pharmaceutical industry. She has led teams in document review and e-discovery involving non-traditional data types including audio and financial account records.

Relevant Experience:

• Collaborated with teams on pre-review assessments to reduce a 5.5 million document universe to 160,000 and designed custom workflows allowing counsel to achieve competing production, arbitration and deposition deadlines.
• Successfully lead the complex review of one million documents for a multi-district anti-trust matter within time, cost and quality constraints and developed review protocols for each phase of review with a focus on compliance with the production request.
