James Dominick

James Dominick is a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting. Mr. Dominick is a member of the Capital Markets team within FTI Consulting's Strategic Communications practice in the United States.

Mr. Dominick specializes in strategic investor relations advisory work, drawing upon his nearly 20 years of experience in equity capital markets, having previously spent his career as an Analyst and Portfolio Manager at leading investment firms. Mr. Dominick works with companies to design and implement effective capital markets communications programs, focusing on optimizing relative valuation particularly during periods of transition and business transformation.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Dominick was a Partner at Sky Zone Capital, a hedge fund focused on global equities with an event-driven bias. Before Sky Zone, Mr. Dominick was the Consumer Sector Head for BlackRock's Global Opportunities team in the United States, responsible for investment decisions within the Consumer Discretionary, Consumer Staples and Telecoms sectors on a global basis. His prior positions include Portfolio Management roles at Millennium and Mirae Asset Global Investments, where he managed the firm's Global Great Consumer funds and co-managed the firm's flagship Global Insight Funds.

Mr. Dominick has an A.B. in History from Brown University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
