About Jean-Michel
Jean-Michel Mollo is a corporate transformation, performance improvement and turnaround expert with more than 25 years of experience across both industry and consulting roles. Jean-Michel has experience in strategic transformation with in-depth capability in developing and nurturing relationship with executives, board and stakeholders (such as banks, lawyers and work councils).
Jean-Michel has advised investors, boards and management teams on a number of complex transformation programmes, including post-merger integrations, carve-outs, operational turnarounds, EBIDTA improvement plans, operating model redesign (target operating model) and organisational simplifications. He is focused on solving complex issues faced by Chairmans, CEOs and CFOs, with a proven track record of transformation and leadership achievements.
Jean-Michel has worked with Belgian and international businesses across a variety of sectors, including consumer and retail, food and beverage, industrials, public transport, security services and aerospace. His clients have included Cargill, Heineken, Louis Delhaize Group, Rolls Royce, Securitas, Sitech Services, SPIE and Sysco Food.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Jean-Michel worked at Alvarez & Marsal in London and in the Benelux for six years, during which he led the Organisational Integrity service and digital offering. He also held senior roles at Deloitte, where he worked for 15 years, and was an EMEA client service partner at Cargill, Securitas, where he worked for a decade.
In September 2013, Jean-Michel published “Decoding the Formula for Superior Performance” a comprehensive research project to identify, decode, qualify and quantify the management practices which most contribute to sustained and superior corporate performance.
Relevant Experience:
- Originated and led more than 50 complex transformation programmes locally and internationally (more than €1 million programmes)
- Built the post-merger integration and enterprise cost reduction practice at Deloitte Belgium and doubled the size of the Strategy and Operations practice
- Launched the Monitor Brand and the integration process with Monitor Deloitte (2014)
- Member of the Strategic Committee of BIA Group, a mining and construction machinery dealer in the Benelux and Africa
