Jodie Patron

Jodie Patron specialises in economic impact assessments, whole-of-economy analysis, workforce modelling and assessing taxation and other government policies. Jodie has extensive experience working with private sector and government clients to provide in-depth analysis of policy changes on consumer prices, business costs, government revenue, households and industry sectors, as well as on the economy.

Jodie has more than 20 years of experience in economic modelling and policy analysis. Her work has included developing and leading complex economic analysis projects to understand the impacts of government policies, such as taxation or migration, and other events, such as COVID or infrastructure projects, on economic activity. In addition, she has experience providing labour market insights to drive better workforce policy.

Jodie has provided economic analysis to a variety of clients, including international organisations and government departments in Malaysia, Bahrain, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the UAE. In addition, she’s advised a variety of Australian government departments, including the Commonwealth Treasury, the Department of Education, the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations and the Department of Industry, Science and Resources. Jodie also brings experience working with various industry bodies across the construction, health and education sectors, among others, as well as corporate clients.
