Jordan Krasne specializes in providing financial and strategic solutions to stressed and distressed companies, their creditors and investors through both in- and out-of-court processes. He has over 10 years of experience advising companies and creditors across many industries including gaming, grocery, energy, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, real estate, retail and technology.
Mr. Krasne’s experience includes preparing and reviewing business plans, cash flow forecasts, financial statement models, debt capacity analyses, waterfall recovery models, liquidation analyses, debtor-in-possession financing arrangements, investigations of causes of action, retention and incentive plans, restructuring plans, stakeholder negotiations, plans of reorganization and evaluations of strategic alternatives.
A representative list of engagements that Mr. Krasne has served includes advising the senior secured lenders of Acosta, Alpha Guardian, API Group, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Diamond Offshore, Ditech, FreshDirect, Fullbeauty Brands, Genesis Healthcare, Getronics, Imperial Plastics, Joerns Healthcare, Mattress Firm, Paragon Offshore, Pier 1, Steel Partners, Steinhoff and Trident USA Health Services; the junior capital investors of Interactive Health Solutions; the unsecured creditors of Brazos Electric Power Cooperative, Caesars Entertainment, Gibson Brands, Marsh Supermarkets, Maxus Energy and Valaris; the management teams and boards of AG Mortgage Investment Trust, First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation, MFA Financial and Miami Beach Medical Group; and investors focused on the consumer products and real estate industries.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Krasne was an Associate at BNP Paribas in the Structured Products group, where he provided innovative financing solutions for hedge fund and mutual fund clients.
Mr. Krasne received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business. He is a CFA® Charterholder. Mr. Krasne also previously held FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses. He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, CFA Society of New York and Turnaround Management Association. He is also a member of UJA Federation of New York’s NextGen Restructuring Committee.
