Larissa Gotguelf is a Managing Director in the FTI Consulting Corporate Finance/Restructuring practice and is based in Los Angeles. Ms. Gotguelf is an accomplished real estate and restructuring consulting professional with more than twenty years of experience in commercial real estate, restructuring, business strategy and operations consulting.
Ms. Gotguelf has provided transaction and advisory services in consulting, restructuring and litigation settings to real estate investors; developers; lenders; corporate real estate users; investors in commercial, mortgage-based securities; and loan servicers. She also has extensive experience in real estate leasing and negotiations, acquisition and disposition (including §363 and other court-approved sales), site selection, corporate finance, and business strategy and portfolio analysis.
Ms. Gotguelf has advised clients in matters involving different property types, including land, office, multifamily, hotel and leisure, retail and franchise, healthcare, senior housing, and fractional ownership. These assignments have involved financial modeling; market research; debt restructuring, damages analysis; valuation; bankruptcy claims analysis; disposition strategy and liquidation; CMBS transaction and underwriting review; and due diligence. Ms. Gotguelf has also served as a financial advisor to the trustee in a Chapter 7 liquidation of a major national firm and to a federal court appointed Receiver for a failed investment management firm.
Ms. Gotguelf’s past clients included such firms as Midland Loan Services, Loma Linda University Medical Center, LNR, ORIX, Bank of America, JPMorganChase, Ambac , Residential Capital, Diablo Grande, and Beazer.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Gotguelf was a senior consultant in the Strategy and Operations practice of Deloitte Consulting. Prior to that, she served as a real estate advisor and a vice president of The Western Group.
Ms. Gotguelf holds a M.B.A. in finance, entrepreneurship and organizational behavior from Carnegie Mellon University, and a diploma in construction engineering from Moscow State Civil Engineering University. She is a member of the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors.
