Lily Wen

Lily Wen is an e-discovery practice leader with more than 15 years of experience advising and supporting clients with the use of technology in discovery and all aspects of electronically-stored evidence management. She specializes in the preservation and investigation of electronic evidence, web management, large-scale team management, organization of comprehensive preservation noticing and e-discovery process management.

Ms. Wen has led hundreds of client engagements across a wide range of matters ranging from forensics collections to multi-jurisdictional class action disputes evolving various complex types of emerging data sources and hundreds of custodians, and has an emphasis on serving clients in the technology industry. She manages cross-functional teams, coordinates with counsel and oversees large scale litigation and investigations matters, consistently delivering timely communication, production validation, document loading and processing protocols, as well as tracking legal holds, collections, and custodian data.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Wen spent more than 12 years with consulting firms in the e-discovery space. She has developed significant experience in client relationship, project and team management, as well as expertise across all phases of e-discovery matters including planning, budgeting, strategy, needs assessments, process improvements and quality assurance.

Relevant Experience:

• Oversaw numerous electronic discovery matters for three leading technology corporations. Managed cross functional teams, communicated with in-house and outside counsels, successfully led complex effort through the follow-the-sun model support to fulfill case needs.
• Directed large-scale data sharing site migration for several leading healthcare corporations, including up-front design and analysis, customization, integration development, process workflow and user training.
• Directed the designed the construction of the legal hold platform for corporations and law firms with thousands of active matters, to streamline the preservation noticing process. Managed the custom reporting development, custodian centralization, preservation reminders and escalation process.
• Led investigations and transactions efforts for numerous international cases for a leading technology corporation on personal and company background checks, company profiles, tax information and other data and deployed an internal investigations workflow to assist with the compliance investigations process.
